Non-Carbonated

So, by now, you've probably heard that Colbie Caillat song, "Bubbly". About 6 million times. I can't stand that song. Sure, it was cute the first 5 times I heard it. But now, every time it comes on the radio, I want to throw up. I hear those opening chords and I see red! So, I wrote my own song as a counter-point.

To the tune of "Bubbly", feel free to enjoy my impending hit, "Non-Carbonated":

I’ve only been awake a while now, but
I’ve already heard this song 10 times by now
‘Cause every station’s got it in your face
It’s everywhere, it’s all over the place

When I walk in the door
They’re playing it in the store
Wherever I go, I always know
No place is safe
It’s being way over-played
There is no escape
Wherever you go

It’s omnipresent, oh it’s such a pain
No sanctuary for my aural space
Over and over yeah, it’s such a bore
It’s all this repetition I abhor

The radio in my car
And then again at the bar
Wherever I go, I always know
That no place is safe
It’s being way over-played
There is no escape
Wherever you go

Wherever, wherever
Wherever you go
Wherever, wherever
Wherever you go
